ABOUT
PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
“W J Academy strives to create a student-centered learning environment that welcomes children of all abilities. The program works to motivate students by embracing interests, primary languages, and cultural background, to make learning more enjoyable. This allows the child to integrate their own knowledge into the program.”
W J Academy start in 2025 it was named after my Father Mr. William "Junior" Joyner. When the idea of the academy had originated I was already an educator and fully equipped with previous experience from many different various positions located in side the school system. I had also raised my own child as well as countless family member children. From what I had observe from working in the school system, classrooms tend to be over crowded, teachers have lost their passion to teach. From years of being overworked but because of this they are less attentive. I wanted to create a place where each child is no only safe but able to get personalized attention so they are not over looked and they are able to reach their full educational needs. This is how the program started. It only made sense to name the program after my own father who has took the time out of his life to tech me many things that I am familiar with today.
